Tanner is now 4 months old and has recently hit some pretty big milestones!
1. Last week he started to roll over! Yay! Or maybe not!
Initially he was only doing it here or there, but now it seems like every time I lie him down, he flips over. So far he can only roll from back to front, which causes a bit of a problem – especially at night. The first couple of nights he would roll over and then fuss and scream trying to roll back. The first ten times or so, I went in and flipped him back over, but as soon as I’d leave his room, he’d be on his tummy again.
So, ya, it’s still a work in progress – trying to get Tanner to sleep has been a bit of a struggle, but he seems to be sleeping better once he has fallen asleep. He seems to be a side/tummy sleeper!
2. As you can see in the picture above, Tanner is a thumb sucker. Since day 1 he has struggled with a soother, so I’m not really surprised.
I’m not really sure how I feel about this though…
I think it’s a good thing cause I will never have to get up in the middle of the night to find his soother for him, but I also think it’s a bad thing cause its forever attached to him and not something I can take away as he gets older…
What’s your take on the whole thumb sucking thing?
3. Tanner has started eating cereal 🙂 He’s a bit of a messy eater, and although he didn’t seem to like it he first few times, he eats it like a champ now! I’m super excited to try oats and barley so we can move on to some veggies soon!
Gotta love the faces babies make when trying new foods!!! So cute!
Well, that’s an update on Tanner. Will post Ryan’s latest adventures soon!
